Starting good!

I ran 1.5 miles, but spent a total of 25 minutes on the treadmill. It feels good. :-)

I am never straightening all of my hair at the gym again though. They don’t keep it cold enough in there.

Trying to renew determination.

So I haven’t been very good about working out lately. I actually unfollowed a lot of blogs too. I didn’t like all their reblogs. Pictures are awesome, and I like the quotes, but I don’t need that anymore. I needed self determination. During the summer, it has been a bit harder. There is so much I want to do before the fall semester starts. It’s right around the corner though. I have been disappointed in myself for not getting up early and doing my workouts. (Though I do think that that made me be harder on my boyfriend when we worked out.)

It’s up to me to get up and to do what needs to be done.

That includes working out, or cleaning, or anything else that I have decided I should do. The only person that is going to do that for me is me. I love gaming, and I’m getting more into it because I get to spend time with my boyfriend that way when he’s at home (and because it’s awesome). I don’t need to let that keep me from doing  what makes me feel good though.

As you can see from the previous post, I have already re-started. I found a wonderful app for my android called “Fitness Buddy.” The free version of course. I’ll be making my workouts with that. I think I’ll coordinate my work outs at the beginning of the week with that (upper body, lower body, mid body). I will also try to coordinate more cardio in my schedule, at least 3 times week. I’ll probably do mid body multiple times a week since ab muscles seem to heal the fastest. I’ll also probably do more of my own research on fitness and health and post about that. Reading on someone else’s blog is useless—unless they’ve actually done research. You should check that.

I will put all my workouts as a “Read More” so you don’t have to look at it unless you want to.

This is still a personal blog. Don’t get confused. I will also post about my daily life, my struggles, my thoughts. I want my lifestyle to include a balance of fitness though. As this has to do with me personally, it will also be included in my blog.

If anyone ever has any questions—random or otherwise—feel free to send me one. I never get questions haha.
