Legs day! 4 rounds:
- 20 High Knees
- 10 Calf Raises with 8s
- 10 Squats with 8s
- 10 Deadlifts with 8s
- 8 Lunges with 5s
If you can’t tell, lunges kill my legs. I’m trying to work on that. The high knees really added the extra umph I needed in my work out. I was sweatin’ balls by the time I finished. <3

Warm up: 2 min walk. 5 sets of sprints.
Core day, 3x:
- 20 standing twists with 5s
- 20 standing side crunches with 8s
- 10 Russian twists with an 8lb
- 15 situps with 5s
- 20 Bicycle Crunches
- 1:30 Plank
So if I flex really hard, I can totally see abs. Woo. That much closer. I’m pretty damn happy about it. I <3 Muscle.
Warmup/Cardio: A little over a mile. Dunno the time.

- 10 Sit ups with 5lb dumbbells
- 20 Bridges
- 10 Hip Lifts
- 1 Min Plank

I’m going to have to find a way to make this tougher haha. I was sweating because I was doing everything quickly, but I didn’t quite feel the burn in my core this time. Thursday is my next core day. I think I may go to the gym so I can use their equipment. Undecided.

Today was a good day.
You guys don’t really get a WOD post because I forgot to write it down and I didn’t have my phone. Today was legs day, I mostly did the same things as Friday, but did lunges and deadlifts too. Then I went running later with a friend. I’m trying to ease him into running, so we did intervals of 1:00 walk, and 0:30 second jogging. He claims to feel that that was a great workout. I feel like I was playing around the whole time. He’ll get there.
I feel awesome though! Tomorrow is core day! It’ll be an at home workout, and hopefully I’ll get to sleep in a little! (I’m thinking 7am haha.)
Cardio: Warm up walk for 0.10 mile, sprint half a mile, and stretch.
Legs, at the gym, so these are mostly on machines (b/c the dumbbells are so crowded):
- 3x15 Calf Raises on 50lbs.
- 3x10 Leg Press on 115lbs.
- 3x10 Hip Adductor on 50lbs.
- 3x10 Hip Abductor on 50lbs.
- 3x10 Leg Curl on 30lbs.
- 3x10 Wall Squats with Ball
I’m liking this in the morning gym routine. The people there in the morning are so nice and comfortable to be around. Two people are already like “Hey! We’re so glad you’re back!” These are fellow gymees too, not the workers. Not that they aren’t nice too, but it’s nifty that everyone seems like friends.
My problem is still getting out of bed at five though. If I got up and was gone by 5:15, I could get in a much longer work out, but I’m having to jam this together because I don’t get on the cardio floor until almost 6:30, and that only leaves me 30-45 minutes before I HAVE to be in the shower, or I’ll be late to class. I’ll work on tho.

Cardio: My friend Matt and I went running. I don’t know how long it was. But we walked, and jogged, and ran, and sprinted. Though I did the last two more than he.
Then I came home and did a 30 second sprint in place for warmup.
Arm day, so followed with 3 rounds of:
- 10 pushups
- 10 flat chest press (w/8s)
- 10 should press (w/8s)
- 10 flat chest flies (w/8s)
- 10 front raises (w/5s)
- 10 lateral raises (w/5s)
Yeah. I feel great. [=
Running: 1 mile. 3 sets of Sprints (up and down my driveway, dunno the length).
Core day! 2 rounds of:
- 20 sit ups
- 20 leg raises
- 20 hip lifts
- 10 windmills
- 20 bicycles
- 1 minute plank
Then at the end I rested for 30 sec, and did another plank. Because I felt like it.
I’m sweating like a hog though, so I go shower now.
Also, thank you burnlover for your suggestions! I liked them, but I couldn’t do with with the video because I don’t have that equipment. I’m definitely thinking of getting it though. Have an at home gym set up. Be nice. [=
Went running, but…
It didn’t last long. The treadmills at my apartment need cleaned. They hurt my knees and shins terribly. I can’t wait until it warms up so I can run outside. In the meantime, I’ll have to make more of an effort to bring my clothes so I can run after classes at the school gym. My shins seriously can’t take this anymore.
But, for now, I did:(WOD) 1 fast mile on the treadmill, 3x10 Lat pull downs, 3x20 weighted Ab Crunches, 3x10 bench press (?), and then 10 minutes on the stair step.
Now, I don’t remember speeds, and I couldn’t tell you the weights because they only had fucking numbers. (1-11?) I seriously dislike that place, and it’s probably because I’m use to so much better at the school gym. As for the last exercise I did, I couldn’t remember exactly what they called it…
